Welcome to the Agriculture Department
The Cuba Agriculture Department offers many Agricultural Education classes to our students including Agriculture Technology, Conservation, Horticulture, Introduction to Agriculture, Advanced Ag Science, and Ag Business. This wide variety of classes offers students the opportunity to learn about many sectors of the agriculture industry. The Agricultural Education program has three main components Classroom Experience, FFA, & SAE.

Classroom/Laboratory Experiences
Classroom and Laboratory based experiences provide students the opportunity to learn about agriculture through inquiry based instruction and hands on lab activities. Classroom and laboratory experiences are an integral part of the agricultural education program as they provide students the opportunity to learn about multiple sectors of the agriculture industry.

A Supervised Agricultural Experience is program involves real-world agricultural activities done by students outside of planned classroom and laboratory time. SAE's provide a method for students to receive practical career skills in a part of agriculture which they are interested. SAE's are an essential element to the agricultural education program. |
FFA is the professional organization associated with agricultural education. Through FFA students can experience Premier Leadership, Personal Growth, and Career Success through going to events and participating in activities such as Career Development Events(CDE's), Leadership Conferences, and other opportunities the FFA Organization offers.
